  Joel Rivera

  Obstetrician and Gynecologist | Menopause Practitioner

  Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Rivera specializes in caring for patients with normal and high risk pregnancies, patients with perimenopause and menopause (including premature, surgical, drug induced and natural menopause), urinary incontinence, osteoporosis management and prevention of gynecologic cancers. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a Certified Menopause Practitioner since 2008, a Member of the North American Menopause Society, Board Certified in Anti Aging and Metabolic Medicine, Certified in Sport and Weight Loss Nutrition, Clinical Bone Densitometry and Osteoporosis Specialist by the International Society for Clinical Densitometry. He is well versed in the use of Bio Identical Hormones and Hormone Replacement Therapy in addition to natural strategies for Cancer prevention and Menopause management. Dr. Rivera is a medical graduate of the UAG School of Medicine and completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Saint Luke’s Medical Hospital in Puerto Rico. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor degree in Nutritional Sciences from Michigan State University. He is also a member of the Texas Medical Association and Harris County Medical Society.

  Dr. Moyosore Adeyekun, MD FACOG

  Obstetrician and Gynecologist

  Dr. Moyosore Adeyekun, MD FACOG (pronounced ah-day-yee-koon) provides full-spectrum medical care for women and girls – from childhood through menopause.She is passionate about women’s health and obstetrics. The positive impact her mom, an internal medicine physician, had on her patients is what piqued Dr. Adeyekun’s interest in Medicine. As a young girl growing up in Lagos, Nigeria, Dr. Adeyekun said she always “felt more could be done with women’s health and obstetrics.” As such, she developed an increased passion for women’s health. As a mom, she experienced high-risk pregnancies. “It is different when you are a patient,” she said. “This makes me more dedicated to obstetrics”. It is important to me to develop personal connections with moms and allow them to feel as comfortable as possible throughout their pregnancies and beyond”. She brings that personal touch to her patients. “I treat my patients like they are family, showing that I care about them as individuals, not just patients.”Dr. Adeyekun received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, St. George’s, Grenada, in 2012. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Northwell Health-Staten Island University Hospital, Staten Island, New York. Dr. Adeyekun, her husband, Paul, and their two Children enjoy living in the Katy area. She enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family in her spare time.
