Farah Mushtaq, MD, began her medical education at the University of Nairobi in Kenya, graduating in 2007. She then relocated to Houston to complete her residency at Houston Methodist Hospital in 2015. Mushtaq completed a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the LSU Health Science Center in 2017. She came to Kelsey-Seybold as a double board-certified endocrinologist and internist in October 2025 and is trilingual in English, Kiswahili, and Urdu. Dr. Mushtaq provides expert care for a wide variety of endocrinological conditions. These include diabetes; thyroid diseases such as hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, and Graves' disease; polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS); osteoporosis, and other hormone-related conditions.
