Susan Phan Carpinteyro, MD, attended St. George's University School of Medicine, earning her medical degree in 2014. From there, she went on to the Christus Health Spohn/Texas A&M University School of Medicine, completing the institution’s Family Medicine Residency Program in 2017. Dr. Phan Carpinteyro joined Kelsey-Seybold in January 2026 and speaks both English and Vietnamese with her patients. As a board-certified Family Medicine physician, she provides primary care for patients of all ages, with a focus on preventive care. She also treats acute conditions such as respiratory illnesses, urinary tract infections, or gastrointestinal discomfort, as well as manages most chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia.
