Ms. Shibani is the proud owner of The Goddard School of Katy. She holds a Master's degree in Computer science with 25+ years experience in the technology. She is our onsite owner who loves children and is passionate about early childhood education.
Ms. Alex, our dedicated Center Director for over five years, brings more than fifteen years of experience in Early Childhood Education as both an educator and administrator. Originally from Colombia, she is bilingual and passionate about fostering inclusive, enriching learning environments where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow. With a strong background in psychology and a Director’s Credential, Ms. Alex understands the importance of play in early learning. She emphasizes the power of meaningful connections between students and teachers. She believes collaboration with parents and the school community is essential to nurturing confident, capable future leaders. As Center Director, Ms. Alex is committed to ensuring the highest quality of care and education, creating a welcoming space where every child can thrive. She looks forward to continuing to support our families and school community!
Ms. Nivvy has been an integral part of our Goddard School family for over four years, creating a warm and engaging environment for our students and families. She holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Cleveland State University but found her true calling in early childhood education. She enjoys traveling, cooking, and hiking nature trails with her family in her free time. One of her favorite activities is reading The Berenstain Bears stories with her boys, sharing the joy of storytelling and valuable life lessons. As our Operational Coordinator, Ms. Nivvy is dedicated to ensuring the school runs smoothly while fostering strong connections between families, teachers, and students. She is excited to continue supporting our school community and looks forward to working with you!
Mrs. Pamela has been part of the Goddard team for over five years and has extensive experience in early childhood education, including teacher and Operations Manager roles. She is a certified Yoga Trainer with 500 hours of training and has extensive experience as a Robotics Instructor. Ms. Pamela is also a U.S. Marine veteran, bringing strong leadership and organizational skills to her educational practice. She is dedicated to nurturing young minds and is excited to bring her diverse experience and heartfelt commitment to your child's development.
Ms. Ana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law but discovered her true calling in Early Childhood Education. Passionate about working with children, she finds joy in supporting their growth, development, and happiness. She believes every child is unique and that early childhood lays the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. Ms. Ana values strong teacher–parent partnerships and strives to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can actively explore and discover the world around them.
Ms. Aryana was born and raised in Texas and has three years of experience working with children. She believes that she is always learning from them and is passionate about fostering curiosity and growth. Her philosophy is to tailor lessons to each child’s unique personality, creating a safe and nurturing environment where every child can blossom. She is currently pursuing her CDA in Infant and Toddler Development to further her education. Her favorite part of teaching is watching children accomplish and overcome challenges they once struggled with. Ms. Aryana’s favorite children’s book is Goodnight Moon.
Ms. Divya is an enthusiastic and creative preschool teacher originally from India. Her passion for nurturing young minds led her to pursue a career in Early Childhood Education, where she incorporates storytelling, art, music, and play into her teaching. She strives to create a joyful classroom where children feel excited to explore new concepts. Her favorite children’s book is Chandamama Stories, and she loves sharing songs that bring smiles and happiness to her students.
Mrs. Jay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology and a Diploma in Information Technology. She brings over four years of experience teaching both early childhood and secondary students, with a strong background in Mathematics, Science, and Computer Science. Passionate about education, she strives to create an engaging and supportive environment where children feel confident in exploring new ideas and growing at their own pace. Her goal is to inspire each child to pursue their dreams, discover their interests, and develop their talents. Outside the classroom, Mrs. Jay enjoys reading, exploring nature, and spending quality time with her family. She believes learning should be fun, meaningful, and full of opportunities for discovery.
Ms. Lili is originally from El Salvador and moved to the great state of Texas in 2020. She comes to Goddard with ten years of experience in the classroom, bringing curiosity and energy to inspire her students. Ms. Lili graduated and became a preschool teacher. She loves teaching, and her goal is to make learning an enjoyable experience. Her favorite children’s book is “Green Eggs and Ham,” and her favorite song is “You Are My Sunshine.” She is a chocolate and coffee lover. She promises to make her classroom a great early learning experience for all her students in her classroom. She is excited to be part of our infant class and looks forward to making this her best year.
Mrs. Allison has over twenty-three years of teaching experience and has called Houston home for the past twenty years. She attended Lone Star College and holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in Early Childhood Education. Inspired by growing up as the youngest of nineteen children, she developed a deep passion for teaching and fostering growth in young learners. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. Her daily goal is to encourage each child to shine like a diamond.
Ms. Marissa, from Houston, Texas, brings 15 years of experience as an educator and is passionate about creating a safe and nurturing environment for children and families. She enjoys spending time with her daughters, Izabellah and Vivianah, as well as her boyfriend. Inspired by the children’s book The Rainbow Fish, she values kindness and the importance of sharing. She lives by the quote: “You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”
Ms. Sally is from the Dominican Republic, an island in the Caribbean. Her passion is caring for infants. Ms. Sally knows they need to explore their new surroundings. She loves to sing and read to her infants every day. The safety of the infants is always on her mind while providing her full attention to each infant and their ever-changing world. Her favorite song is “We Go Together” from Grease. She wants a safe environment where children can learn, explore, and discover.
Ms. Yvonne is an educator from Baytown, Texas, dedicated to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. She encourages her students to exchange ideas, consider different perspectives, and actively participate in discussions, while also emphasizing responsibility, respect, and openness. Ms. Yvonne values the role of families in education and believes parents should be engaged partners in reinforcing lessons from school. A literature enthusiast, she enjoys sharing books like Charlotte’s Web and strives to instill a lifelong love of learning in her students.
Anna Marie Bean was born in Russia and raised in Katy, Texas. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Houston. Her teaching style is play-based, hands-on, and collaborative, allowing children to explore, observe, and learn through fun, engaging activities. She believes that “children need models, not critics” and is passionate about nurturing each child’s potential. Anna loves reading Goodnight Moon and Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed with her students, and singing songs like Five Little Ducks and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. A fun fact—she can touch her tongue to her nose!
Ms. Eva was born and raised in Houston, Texas, with family roots in the Dominican Republic. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Education with the goal of becoming an elementary school teacher. She has a strong passion for working with children of all ages and is dedicated to fostering positive behavior and personal growth in her students. One of her favorite childhood books is If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Numeroff. She lives by the quote: "Life is full of changes — you can fight it or try to make the best of it."
Ms.Keila is originally from Houston, Texas, and has family ties to Honduras and Mexico. She balances teacher-centered and student-centered approaches in teaching, prioritizing student engagement. She expects respect from students and families towards herself, the classroom, and their peers. Ms.Keila's favorite childhood books are "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle and "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" by Bill Martin Jr. She lives by Bob Marley's quote, "Love the life you live and live the life you love."
Ms. Luisana is originally from Venezuela and has lived in the United States for six years. She has been married for thirteen years and is the proud mother of three daughters—16-year-old twins and an 8-year-old. Her teaching style is rooted in love and patience. She believes children need to feel seen, heard, and valued to grow and develop essential life skills. Ms. Luisana encourages curiosity and eagerness to learn in her students and values open communication and teamwork with families to help each child thrive. Llama Llama is one of her favorite childhood books, and she enjoys singing The ABCs of You. A fun fact about Ms. Luisana is that she knows almost every children’s song by heart—and happily sings them while doing chores! She lives by the quote: “Wherever you plant love, something beautiful will grow.”
Ms. Magdi comes to us from Venezuela with open arms and heart. She has a degree in economics from Zulia University. Ms. Magdi wants to teach her students the importance of being proactive and responsible for their daily choices. Her favorite childhood book is "Charlotte's Web," and her favorite song is "Bingo, Is his name." She feels like working with children is incredibly rewarding as she loves the opportunity to engage with future generations actively.
Ms. Mariangelica was born in Venezuela, where she studied Communication and Public Relations, and moved to Houston in 2019. A proud mother of three boys, she brings warmth and passion to her classroom. Her teaching style blends visual, auditory, and hands-on learning through games and dance, creating an engaging environment for children. She values strong relationships with both students and parents and treasures being part of children’s early growth and development. Her favorite childhood book is The Little Prince.
Ms. Nélida is an experienced educator who is passionate about guiding young minds. She believes education can transform lives and sees teaching as a noble pursuit. Nélida enjoys working with children of all ages, from infants to prekindergarten students, and finds great satisfaction in fostering their skills, instilling discipline, promoting teamwork, and nurturing problem-solving abilities. Mrs. Reyna has been working with children for more than 20 years. She enjoys working with toddlers because they are fun. Throughout the year, Reyna has enjoyed learning and growing with the Goddard School. She believes children should be able to learn and grow uniquely. Her goal is to help enrich the lives of each child and help them accomplish their full potential.
Ms. Gloriany comes from Venezuela and has a degree in Mechanical Engineering, leading her to work in the oil industry for three years. Her life changed with the birth of her son back in 2015. Her son showed her the infinite love of children. As Venezuelan poet Andres Eloy Blanco said, “When you have a child, you have all the children in the world….” She loves seeing happy children, which led her to develop other abilities making paper crafts and whimsical decorations with balloons. At “The Goddard School,” Ms. Gloriany enjoys seeing the smiles on the children’s faces when she brings them their healthy and delicious meals and snacks daily.
