  • Luisa F. Nunez

    Pilates Instructor

Luisa F. Nunez is a certified Stott Pilates Instructor since 2013 with special focus on Mat and Reformer (Essential and Intermediate Level), but trained as well on Stability Chair, and I have done self study on the Ladder Barrel and Cadillac. I fell in love with Pilates while still working as a Chemical Engineer in the Oil & Gas Industry in Colombia, in 2009. I’ve always been a very active fitness enthusiast and decided to try Pilates in search for a technique with lower impact on the knees. I was surprised with the increased muscle tone, core strengthening, as well as improved posture, balance and flexibility. I believe that continue education is an essential component of becoming a better fitness instructor, that’s why I have attended to trainings in TRX, Barre and I got a Certification as a NASM CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) December, 2018. I’m always willing to learn from different fitness areas, I took the CPT course because I wanted to learn and understand more about the Human Movement System. I was so glad with all the new knowledge from the CPT course, that now I’m taking a new course to become a Specialist in Corrective Exercise, in order to help my clients to move better and correct any imbalances in their HMS (Human Movement System). I speak English and Spanish.

  • Raven Lathrop

    Pilates Instructor

Raven Lathrop is a native Houstonian. She graduated with her Bachelor of Art degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and later went on to complete a Master of Science degree from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX. Raven began her career teaching our youth in public education, before she started her own family. She has four young children that keep her on her toes, ages: 7, 6, 5 and 1. Raven is an avid Barre, running and cycling enthusiast, having completed over 350 Barre classes. It was through being a Pilates student that she finally recognized and felt the mind/body connection. “You can mindlessly go through movements or you can concentrate, bringing awareness to your muscle groups in order to move more efficiently and controlled”. Raven is comprehensively certified to teach Pilates through Peak Pilates, which she decided to pursue after becoming a member here. Raven is currently enrolled in an advanced program with Peak, to deepen her knowledge in order to bring the most safe and effective workouts. The type of active meditation taught in Pilates allowed Raven to: decrease her mommy stress, go about her day feeling lengthened and stretched and made her so much more grateful for how hard her body works each day. Raven is a forever student of Pilates and will happily guide you in your own journey, whether you are looking to: prevent injury, improve movement patterns, build endurance, increase flexibility and strength or decrease stress. Pilates is sustainable and we all have our own journey; Raven cannot wait to be a part of yours.

  • Paula Diclemente

    Pilates Instructor

I have been a certified Stott Pilates Instructor since 2006.  I fell in love with Pilates while training at which time I also learned that I had a rare form of cancer.  After many surgeries and loss of the femoral nerve in my right leg and loss of my patella, Pilates was and still is instrumental in my recovery and overall health.  I am able to perform my Pilates practice and teach, including special populations and rehab training.  My training includes Group SPX mat and reformer as well as tower, Cadillac, chair, and ladder barrel. My experience includes teaching at Pilates Houston, Royal Oaks Country Club, Memorial Athletic Club, Conoco Phillips, and an internship at Houston Ballet.  I also teach private clients from ages 40 to 80.  Continuing education has been a part of my training since I started with Pilates. Pilates is for everyone and is adaptable to many fitness levels and needs…and you can continue even into your later years.
